Album:
Little Free Rock (Transatlantic TRA 208) 1969
This group was a later version of Purple Haze who included ex-David John and The Mood guitarist Peter Illingworth. Their album is basically heavy psychedelia with some
Cream influences. The songs are well structured with fine melodies and good guitar, with the best tracks being
"Roman Summer Nights", "Lost Lonely Castles In The Sky",
"Dream", "Tingle" and "Evil Woman".
Frank Newbold was later involved in the Astral Navigations Thundermother project.
