After the remastering of an historical album by Tractor in the beginning of this year, Ozit have combined the best of the original tracks by The Way We Live, including their unique gem, ‘A Candle for Judith’ from 1971. The formula is simply the duo, featuring Jim Milne on guitar, with his alternate soft acoustic atmosphere and the 12-bar hard blues, strong and incisive, with reverb in all the right places, scorching up an incredible Zeppelinesque crescendo on the classic ‘Willow’. Steve Clayton represents, with his extraordinary rhythm, a discreet but decisive interlude of changes in form on the almost progressive and ambient ‘The Way Ahead’. We can revel in the generous bonus track from the progressive era in ‘Easier to Say’ where we can listen to the legendary sax of ex-Hawkwind Nik Turner.
